In order to positively respond to the call from municipal Party committee& municipal government to establish national civilized cities, since the start of November, Anqing Foreign Language School has been carrying out a series of propaganda and education campaign so as to solidly fulfill the job specification and deployment of Municipal Education& Physical Education Working Councils, further accomplish the establishment of national civilized cities as well as comprehensively improve the quality of our teaching staff and students.
In the first place, we shall organize and develop the ‘Five-Ones’ activity. That is to say, our school is supposed to convene a mobilization meeting, hold a theme class meeting, hang a promotional banner, make propaganda columns in addition to send a letter to parents of students in that all teachers, students and parents will concern, sustain and participate in the establishment of national civilized cities. Only in this way can each and every member of staff and students give full play to this project and endeavor to achieve this goal with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
In the second place, we are encouraged to build favorable publicity atmosphere. Since the beginning of November, Anqing Foreign Language School has been exhibiting publicity posters in school’s electronic screen to blend socialist core values in classroom teaching and campus culture. Other than that, there are 24-word promoted posts in marked positions for teachers and students to recite. Furthermore, we can see slogans such as ‘Thrifty Virtue’，‘Civilized Dining Table’ around the student canteen as well as some tip cards for strong ethics with impeccable integrity.
In the third place, we are determined to construct an exquisite environment. All departments in Anqing Foreign Language School have been enhancing coordination regarding beautifying, brightening and afforesting our campus environment. Besides, we shall maintain our surroundings clean and tidy, achieve orderly vehicle parking, beautify harmonious environment in addition to make smoking bans workable in our campus and public places to demonstrate standards in regard to civilized establishment of education& physical education.
In conclusion, since the movement of setting-up of national civilized cities, Anqing Foreign Language School has been formulating the activity program in close combination with reality to intensify publicity and guidance, set up propaganda positions and deepen the overall atmosphere. At present, our school’s establishment of national civilized cities has been in solid conditions.
